We now sell the specially woven Jacobean Linen Twill. The linen flax is grown in Scotland on the only four farms which are far enough away from pollution to produce the traditional natural "oatmeal with honey" colour. It is then woven in Scotland exclusively for the Crewelwork Company by a specialist historic weaver, in a "Z" twist, to replicate British bedhangings circa 1700. For your interest, if it is a good year for wine, then it is a good year for linen!
