5/5Leyette Published Sunday, 25 June 2023 My new Tailormade sewing able is exactly what I want to increase my sewing space to include my overlocker as well as hide everything away, out of sight when I need a clean bench top for hand work or just to look tidier. The machine gas lift is easy to use. Although it came fully assembled, I had to disassemble it to get it up a flight of stairs and it was straightforward to do this. The door storage shelves even accommodate my machine accessories box perfectly.

One big concern I had was which configuration to have, being a "leftie". I trusted the advise I got at the time and went with the standard layout, I am so glad I did. Quilting and sewing on a machine is one of those crafts that often favours the lefties , and this table layout doesn't disappoint. As your project at the machine is naturally positioned at the left of the sewing foot, you have all this extra support along your left side from the extension section to "table/support" all that bulk (especially critical to prevent drag on quilts and large projects) and which continues forward seemlessly through to the surface and table extension that pops up past the machine. it is so logical. The ability to have the machine needle plate flush with the table surface doesn't just give you a super large flat area for your project, I have had a huge change in back and shoulder issues since owning this unit. There is also plenty of storage within the unit and room on the right of your machine for keeping your essentials without interfering with your working surface. I do not hesitate to recommend this unit, a very worthy investment.
