A two colour fairisle hat knitted in 8ply/DK yarn, topped off with a possum pompom. The main colour was dyed with tea bags creating a beautiful caramel colour, this is where the name Tea Cup Hat is derived.

The pattern has two versions, knitted flat on straight needles or on the round on double pointed needles.

ENSION: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm [4 ins] over stst on 4 mm (6 US) needles.

MEASURMENTS:

Small/Medium - 53 cm (21 ins)

Large - 58.5 cm (23 ins)

MATERIALS:

Recommended yarn - 8ply Merino

MC – Tea	1 2	50 gm Balls
C1 – Natural	1 1	50 gm Balls

One pair each size 3.25 mm (3 US) and 4 mm (6 US) knitting needles or one set each size 3.25 mm (3 US) and 4 mm (6 US) double pointed needles and possum pompom.

Love this wool having made 2 baby blankets already. On receiving the “fawn” colour I decided it wasn’t for me, so asked if I could return and swap it out for another colour. Easy as process. Cheers Jon.
