The needles are made of smooth, hard birch with a beautiful grey "driftwood" finish that varies with the wood grain and the tips are long and slender. The black metal endcaps have the sizes etched into them, not printed.

The set includes sizes US 4 - US 17 and comes in a sturdy fold-up case with elastic closure.
