The interchangeable needle tips are 2.2mm, 1.6mm and 1.3mm in diameter and suitable to use with sizes 3, 5 and 8 Coton Perlé respectively.
You can use any fine thread with this needle, including stranded embroidery thread so long as it flows smoothly through your chosen needle tip.
