I fund that I have less discomfort knitting with the cubic needles, The joins with the cables are smooth enough. I knitted sleeves for a cardigan and the joins did not come undone. The yarn slips quite nicely as you knit. I am unable to knit as fast as I once did and the needles do not slow me down. I would prefer the needles to be even shorter because I had to use shorter metal needles to finish the cuffs of the sleeves. Metal now makes my hands ache. I am happy with my purchase.
