These are 1,000gsm pure wool mats - thick and strong.

Wool's unique natural properties make it a perfect ironing surface, reflecting the heat back at the underside of your fabric - it is like ironing from both sides at once!
Thick enough you can pin into it for easy blocking & protects your surface

We have designed popular sizes by demand, sizes perfect for use in a craft room but also large full ironing board sized pieces. These larger pieces you can trim to perfectly fit your ironing board. While they do not require a cover over them, when fitted to an ironing board you can replace your cover back over the mat to hold it in place permanently while still gaining the benefits of this 100% wool surface!

These mats may contain a small element of vegtable matter, unlike other brands we dont disguise this through chemicals and dying of the wool - this is raw and real, with none of its natural properties stripped!

Wool mats are hand cut - some small differences +/- may occur in final size. Most mats will be slightly larger then quoted sizes.
