This handknit elephant toy is part of a duo designed for the #5375 Snuggly Cashmere Merino DK & Snuggly Bunny brochure by Sirdar. Using 2 colourways, the toy is worked in pieces then seamed. Diagrams are provided to create the twisted cord tail.
This sweet toy matches the intarsia pullover included with the pattern.
TENSION
22 sts and 28 rows to 10cm (4in) over stocking stitch using 4mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
The toy uses 3¼mm needles throughout.
Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
