KNITTING PATTERN

A single rib band flows into a simple eyelet textured pattern. 

Knitted in 8ply/DK yarn on 4mm (6 US) needles.

The pattern has two versions, knitted flat on straight needles or on the round on double pointed needles.

  • TENSION: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm [4 ins] over stst on 4 mm (6 US) needles.

MEASURMENTS:

  • Small - 53 cm (21 ins)
  • Medium/Large - 58.5 cm (23 ins)

MATERIALS:

Recomened Yarn:

  • Burnt Hill Yarns Vespers 8ply - Misty: 2 - 50 gm Balls

One pair each size 3.25 mm (3 US) and 4 mm (6 US) knitting needles or one set each size 3.25 mm (3 US) and 4 mm (6 US) double pointed needles.

    Not as smooth as the KnitPro needles I usually use. However, it was only for a few rows using this needle so persevered. Light weight needles which suited my hands perfectly.

    Love this beanie and it was relatively simple (some googling and youtube instructional videos helped thought). My suggestion would be to make these into kits - I didn't realise that I needed two different sized needles. Perhaps Ribbon Rose, you could offer these in kit form with everything you need (or alt least advise people who order this pattern that of all you will need). Thank you

    Wool is nice to knit with 8pmy but knits up quite thick which will be good for winter
