Jeanette Douglas Designs - Embroidery Pattern
Stitch Count: 41 x 339
Jeannette says:
"In doing research for this piece I came upon many interesting things but mostly I was charmed by the whole Immigration thing as my parents immigrated to Canada via Halifax Harbour, NS and traveled across the country by train to land in a very rural area of Alberta. When I was but 8 weeks old my parents moved to southern Ontario as my mom couldn't bear the very long cold winters on the prairies coming from a much milder climate. Enjoy stitching your little stack of blankets!"
Fabric: 35 ct. linen
Threads & Notions: Gloriana Threads Silk & Lorikeet Wool, Crescent Colours Belle Soie, Thread Gatherer Silk N'Colors, Needlepoint Silk, Rainbow Gallery Splendour, Access Commodities Bijoux, Mill Hill beads, charms
