Songbird was inspired by a trip to Venice and the elegance of Art Nouveau, known there as Stile Liberty. Influences come from ornate architecture, old cafés, Murano glass chandeliers and hidden gardens, reflected in the collection’s softly decorative, hand-drawn designs.

Rather than being highly detailed, Songbird offers a lighter, more relaxed take on Art Nouveau. Gently outlined motifs and a soft, dusty pastel palette create a calm, watercolour-like feel that tones down the patterns and suits spring and summer beautifully.

Romantic images of garden soirées, flowing dresses and nature motifs such as butterflies and dragonflies inspired the coordinating quilts and cushions.
