Art Spectrum Black Watercolour Pads are a striking alternative to traditional white watercolour papers, designed to bring light, luminosity and contrast to the forefront of your artwork. With its rich black surface and 25 percent cotton composition, the Art Spectrum Watercolour Pad Black 300gsm allows artists to explore new approaches using highlights, opaque marks and bright pigments. This shift in focus creates a fresh perspective where light becomes the defining element of the piece.

Each sheet is a sturdy 300gsm weight that is also double-sized, so won't buckle or warp even with generous amounts of water added. The acid-free formulation of the paper means it won't tarnish or discolour over time and won't alter the colour or integrity of the medium you apply. It is suitable for watercolour, gouache, metallic paints, acrylic inks, gel pens and mixed media effects.
