Art Spectrum Retouch Varnish

Art Spectrum Retouch Varnish is a temporary picture varnish formulated with a high performance non-yellowing synthetic resin. Use a brush or spray where colour is dull, sunken or needs a temporary protective varnish.

Art Spectrum Retouch Varnish must be applied to a completely dry surface. While you can apply further layers of oil paint and varnish over the Art Spectrum Retouch Varnish, the best practice is to remove the varnish when the oil is completely dry with something like the Art Spectrum Artists Turpentine or Art Spoectrum Odourless Solvent.

Depending on your climate, Art Spectrum Retouch Varnish will be touch dry after 24 hours, although in colder environments it can take up to 4-5 days to dry completely.
