I bought this and some Mulberry silk too. This is less lustrous and a more natural colour which is quite different to the Mulberry... more "raw" ...I like it and it would be gorgeous left in it's natural colour. Im plying it with light brown/off-white wool for dyeing but i might reconsider as it is lovely as it is. It is less slippery and has shorter fibres I think than the Mulberry so is easier to spin although both are wonderful to spin once you get the hang of it! Delicious stuff!!
