SIX-STRAND EMBROIDERY FLOSS

DMC Cotton Embroidery Floss, made from long staple cotton and double mercerized for a brilliant sheen, is the most recommended floss in the world. This premium thread is made up of six size 25 easily separated strands, which allows you to customize the thickness of the thread by choosing the number of strands.
DMC Embroidery Floss is 100% colorfast and fade resistant.

To separate the floss's strands, take your skein and find the tail that sticks out. Pull the tail out from the skein slowly until you have an 18" length of floss and cut it off. If you'd like to separate the thread into individual strands, pull one strand up and out slowly until it's fully separated from the others.
Care and Washing: DMC Embroidery Floss can be washed frequently without fading. It can be washed at a high temperature ( 95° C/203° F). Be sure to pay attention to the washing instructions on the fabric on which the thread was embroidered.

    I ordered several hundred DMC threads for several different projects, and The Ribbon Rose stepped up and completed my order in record time, and got every single DMC number correct (even I get the odd wrong one when buying at a store). My local store closed and I thought I would have to give up my beloved cross-stitching, but thankfully, I discovered The Ribbon Rose. With such a large range of different supplies, and an excellent delivery service, I feel like taking up more hobbies so I can put in a lot more orders.
