Theres no shaping to the lower body of the cardigan, so this could actually work for boy babies if you care to do that; though the emphasis on the Empire waist (and the corresponding use of seed st (UK: moss st) on the sleeves might skew more towards girliness. The blanket is partially knit in one piece, though different sections are worked separately within that and then sewn together. Hat is knit flat and seamed.
