I have a favourite brand of cotton yarn I buy from overseas, but the postage is very expensive and delivery is long. It is great to find a very similar product here in NZ that with everything considered, works out to be around the same price and takes just a few days from ordering to delivery. Thanks Ribbon Rose.

Not as smooth as the KnitPro needles I usually use. However, it was only for a few rows using this needle so persevered. Light weight needles which suited my hands perfectly.

I really like this stuff! I've used it for two projects so far, crocheted collar and cuffs for a Sashiko stitched bomber jacket I've been making, and I'm currently making a scarf. It's been really easy to use, and it's got a nice soft feel to it. I love that it's 100% cotton, and I really like the quality of the colours. To my eyes the two shades of blue I've used have had a nice subtlety, rather than just being garish 'poster colours', which I felt gives a sense of quality, and what you might even call 'heritage sophistication' if you were given to such pretentious nonsense. I'm sure I'll be using this yarn again!
