Atelier Middle Medium is used as a general purpose medium throughout the painting process for spreading and smoothing paint, wet blending, edge blending wet over dry, scumbling and glazing. It expands and advances on the formula of the popular Atelier Clear Painting Medium.
A middle viscosity is useful for spreading paint and painting gradations wet-in-wet or wet-over dry. It is easy to integrate over painting by edge blending or glazing.
