Petite Knit Sevilla Blouse - Knitting Pattern
The Sevilla Blouse has a boat neck and is worked from the top down. First, the back yoke is worked flat, back and forth. Then the front yoke is worked and shaped by working short rows. The front and back yoke are then joined to form the body, which is worked in the round on a circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round on a circular needle from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the armholes. The stockinette stitch neck edge is worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neck opening.
Size guide
The Sevilla Blouse is designed to have approx. 8 cm [3¼ inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 8 cm [3¼ inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm [29½-31½ (31½-33½) 33½-35½ (35½-37½) 37½-39½ (39½-43¼) 43¼-47¼ (47¼-51¼) 51¼-55 (55-59) inches]. The measurements for the finished blouse can be found on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before beginning your project, to determine which size will fit you the best. For example, if you measure 90 cm [35½ inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S blouse has a bust circumference of 98 cm [38½ inches] which in the given example would give you 8 cm [3 inches] of positive ease.

Published Thursday, 29 May 20255 out of 5I am reserving judgment on this yarn until project is knitted up. I will say I am unused to working with fine yarn and am enjoying smaller stitches which I would say has good stitch definition. I switched needles to metal as the yarn is quite splitty to work with for me and this helped. Ribbon Rose service is top notch.

Published Thursday, 1 May 20254 out of 5The 'Lemon' colour is a lovely clear bright yellow. Just delightful. I do find the yarn has a propensity to split while knitting so you do need to take care but, so far, it is knitting up beautifully and I can't wait to finish it.

Published Friday, 24 January 20255 out of 5These clover double pointed shorter needles are simply the best! Especially on smaller articles they are the smoothest needles I’ve ever used, expensive but worthwhile.

Published Thursday, 23 January 20255 out of 5Lovely yarn to knit with, the ‘light beige’ colour is much more of a grey/silver than a beige though
