Knitting Pattern:
Here is a beautiful suite to warm the tiniest babies. There are two premature sizes (the smallest is intended to fit a 12/30cm chest), and then two more to take you up to 6 months. The lacy body pattern on the cardi and bonnet is absurdly easy, with only one active row out of every 6. The delicate look really mostly comes from the use of the picot hems and bands, and the twisted cords-- though of course you could use ribbons in place of them. This is another of those patterns that looks as if it were knitted in a 4 ply, but is really worked in a DK-- always welcome as a time-saver. The mitts and bootees and bonnet are worked flat and seamed.

Gauge: 22 stitches = 4 inches
Needle size US 6 - 4.0 mm
