Winter Lake Warmer - Hot Water Bottle Cover
"I made this hotwater bottle cover pattern after being given a thick, woollen one to hold while I was staying on the Northern reaches of the Great Slave Lake in Canada. It was minus 38degrees outside; I held it as I read a book by a blazing fire and knew I wanted to make one for myself. The extra thick wool insulates enough to keep warmth in the bottle all night long, and it prevents the burn through affects from a thinner cover." - Christine (Designer)
Note: The cover is designed to stretch over a bottle snuggly and is therefore knitted on 8mm needles to maintain reasonable density. Not suitable for synthetic fibres. Knitted from bottom flap upwards on single point needles in one flat piece then sewn down one side to complete.
