Jacquard Decolourant 240ml

deColourant is a ready-to-use, non-bleach colour remover designed for creating effects on dyed natural fabrics including cotton, linen, silk and wool.

Simply apply deColourant to the areas where you want to remove colour, allow it to dry, then activate with heat. Once activated, the original dye is removed and the deColourant can be washed out of the fabric.

Unlike bleach, deColourant removes colour without compromising the integrity of the fibres, making it ideal for printing, stencilling, stamping and creating decorative effects on dyed fabrics.

How to Use

• Apply with a brush, stamp, sponge, applicator or stencil, or use for screen printing.
• Allow to dry, then iron using the highest heat setting suitable for your fabric.
• For additional colour removal, use steam while ironing.
• A heat gun can also be used, particularly if the print is still damp.
• The fabric colour will disappear or change during heat activation.
• Once complete, wash with Synthrapol or a mild detergent to remove the deColourant and return the fabric to its natural softness.

Important Notes

• The resulting colour will not always be white – the final result depends on the original fabric dye.
• Some dyes respond to colour removal more effectively than others.
• We recommend testing on a fabric sample before starting your finished project or a larger production run.
