The rit colour remover worked really well. I had some different coloured items in a batch together and thought colour from one had gone into another but it washed white again. There was some opportunity to add more items in after the recommended weight of fabric had been processed however it does become a bit inconsistent by that stage and I've had to further bleach a couple things to get the patchiness off. I would definitely use this again. And I don't think it smells bad, it smells like a strong laundry powder.
