I already had what I thought was a great table lamp to do my stitching, but when I needed to be with my mother I found I was struggling to see the finer stitches so I purchased the Daylight Magnificent Pro Lamp. I was hoping it would be as good as my old trusted light/magnifier but it exceeded all expectations! One of the bugbears of my old light was when stitching in the hoop and I needed to stitch near the bottom the neck of the light was in the way. The new lamp has a large heavy base and the neck of the lamp is situated specifically so it never gets in the way. I have fallen in love!! I would highly recommend this lamp for both hobbies and stitchery.
