Sandnes Garn 2410-2 - Marius Ladies Sweater
Work sweater from neck down in Peer Gynt Tweed and Peer Gynt. The pattern contains versions of both top-down and from hem-up.
From neck down:
Begin with the back and work until underarms. Cont to knit up sts on each shoulder for left and right side front. Cast on new sts by neck to create and shape neckline, then join the two fronts to one. Work front until underarms. Join back and front. Cont back and front in rnds and end with ribbing. Knit up sts on each armhole for sleeves. Work sleeves
in rnds and end with ribbing. Work neckband in ribbing.
From hem up:
Beg with ribbing, cont St-st in main color until underarms. Divide work at this point for back and front and work each part separately with pattern according to diagram. Work sleeves in rnds from ribbing up, and with pattern according to diagram for upper part. Work neckband.

I was delighted with the service from the Ribbon Rose and the quality of the yarn and pattern, first rate. However, I was disappointed that the appropriate zipper was not included in the kit.

The yarn is surprisingly soft, with great construction which will ensure stitch and pattern definition. The colour is gorgeous, so I am really anticipating knitting with it and wearing the finished garment.

I have been surprised to find a separate piece of yarn inside several balls of between 75 and 100cm in length, so I am putting them aside for sewing the garment together when the knitting is finished. I would buy this brand of yarn again
