Junia Sweater is worked from the top down in Peer Gynt and Tynn Silk Mohair, holding one strand of each quality together. The sweater features a charted pattern and sloping shoulders and can be worked with either a fitted, longer silhouette or a more oversized, cropped fit.
The sweater is worked from the top down following a chart, holding 1 strand of each quality together. Stitches are cast on for the back, which is worked back and forth with short rows and increases to shape the sloping shoulders. The back is continued back and forth to below the underarms. Stitches are then picked up for the front pieces, which are worked back and forth while stitches are increased for the neckline. The front pieces are joined and worked to below the underarms before the front is joined with the back and the work is continued in the round to full length. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked in the round following the chart and finished with ribbing. The neckband is worked last and folded double to the wrong side. Size 1 has a fitted and longer silhouette, while sizes 2 and 3 are more oversized and cropped. Choose the size according to the fit you prefer.

Published Thursday, 27 November 20255 out of 5This wool is enjoyable to knit and quality control is excellent - I haven't come across any flaws in the yarn. I have been surprised to find a separate piece of yarn inside several balls of between 75 and 100cm in length, so I am putting them aside for sewing the garment together when the knitting is finished. I would buy this brand of yarn again
